I thought it was Time or Newsweek, but it was actually US News and World Report that named Auburn a top 10 city

1, nothing bama is the golden goose even if they have to do everything they can to shove the golden egg up there for it to lay.
2. The 9 game schedule was posturing. No one was gonna go for it and it save Bama face for not looking ridiculous for wanting to play Tennessee a team that they usually crush when not sanctioned.
3. The Bridge Schedules were ridiculous. There is no reason Ole Miss had to play at Bama 2 years in a row. And being gifted ken tuck instead of Missouri.
4. The new Schedule is bad for fans. I am sorry but preserving the rivalries of 4/14 schools at the cost of common sense is not worth it. Having to war a decade to play a East opponent is baffling, but don't worry Bama fans i am sure whatever order they come in you will be getting that team at their worst.

I don't get why the rivalry four can't keep our games while the rest of you rotate till your hearts content. If we go 9 conference games than you can even rotate the rivalry four on without having to sacrifice a meaningful game for them.

Is anyone surprised that an API troll comes on this board and starts an anti-Alabama thread. Little brother syndrome at it's best. Bama suggest a 9 game schedule, which by the way would aid the new network, it becomes as popular as the plague.
As a member school, Alabama can't be constructive to help solve problems. There are to many other butt-hurt schools that want tobe obstructive.

Sacrifice?...NOTHING!
LINK
As long as the HQ is located in the hometown of the Golden Flakes...the other 13 schools will continue to get the shaft.
Aside from football and gymnastics is there really anything else in Gumpville?...nope!

Damnabbit people.
Iron Bowl moved from Birmingham.
SEC championship moved from Birmingham.
We wanted Scar to be perm homecomng opponent
We had to sacrifice all of those bye weeks for you guys.
Isn't that enough?

Golden Flake sucks. For the poor.

We asked for relief from our entire SEC schedule having bye weeks before they played us. Didn't get it. The SECCG might as well be a UGA home game, when they are in it.Moved it out of Bham.
Nick Saban wanted a 9 game SEC schedule, didn't get that either. And Alabama gets one vote in all these matters, just like LSU or anyone else. Do a better job of making your case or lobbying others next time.

I wish the SECCG would rotate around to all the SEC schools that aren't in it. It would be fun to go the SECCG at the swamp and have a lsu play say south carolina. This is just an example.

I'm pretty sure Alabama's coach was the only one on record pushing for 9 games.
It was Saban and Jones - they were the only two. Funny ain't it.

I think you got another by week so you could have a break before you play A&M

We played Missouri their first year in the SEC, and everyone bitched then too because Missouri happened to have a losing record that year. Nevermind the fact that they were coming off a bowl season.
Thank goodness for all the psychics on our payroll that were able to see into the future that Missouri was going to have a losing record in 2012.

They have to share a division with LSU for one. Can't be easy putting up with the constant whining.

Seems like Slive bent over for them this time. I hope he enjoys worshiping his new trailer park overlords
