LSU and Tennessee both scheduled Oregon. Auburn and Alabama have both scheduled West Virginia and Clemson, Georgia plays Ga. Tech every year, Florida plays Florida St every year and sometimes Miami, Georgia has taken on Clemson, OK St and AZ St., Tennessee has played UCLA, Oklahoma, Cal and NC State. Bama has played Clemson, Va Tech, Penn State, and Michigan. Auburn went to Kansas State last year. LSU played Washington, West Va, UNC, Oregon, TCU and Wisky.

Don't get all high and mighty about State's scheduling habits. Most every team in the SEC has played tough out of conference. I don't think the teams listed above are directional school cream puffs. Every team has don't their time. Since 2008 State has only scheduled a home and home with Ga Tech and opened up with Okie State but played Jackson State twice as well.

I'm sure they don't WANT to play at Southern Miss.

But Texas A&M has played at Southern Miss before. So don't shake your head.
