and the shite show we saw on Saturday? Why has he regressed so much as a passer? Was he always this terrible while at OU and the 350 passing was an anomaly? I think if A&M still had Allen they'd have a pretty damn decent team.

Do you want me to ship you an A&M hat since you care about our program much more than yours?

Our defense got better.

Do LSU fans not understand the passage of time?

I didn't get the sense that he was missing a lot of throws. He passed pretty well to the outside. Defensive coverage was just very good. Knight was more accurate than Hurts was.

You might want to compare Alabama defenses. The Alabama defense in 2013 was built more to stop offenses like LSU and Arkansas. The Alabama defense of 2016 is built more to stop spread offenses like A&M. They are still big but are quicker than their 2013 counterparts.

Maybe, just maybe Alabama changed defensively.

Yes he was on fire that game much like Garcia against Bama in 2010. That game was an outlier in how he normally throws. I actually thought he threw decent Saturday. He just didn't have much time most throws. His TD passes were actually damn good throws.

Absolutely it got better. But that's not a good enough reason for him to look that bad.

That makes absolutely zero sense. Alabama is much faster on defense now. He was sacked five times and under constant pressure all afternoon. That might explain a lot.

And yet Kelly and Allen both put up over 400 yards on that defense. So you're telling me it was 100% on the defense why he played so poorly?

He passed the ball fine. We dropped a few but for the most part he was running from the Bama rush. They had inside pressure and he had to get rid of the ball very quickly.

Guess you don't football??

That was something else I didn't understand. He was under pressure quite a bit. Why not draw up more quick passes? Or maybe even run the option with him, he's mobile enough.
