UGA has severely piss d off tech and Augusta state with our engineering and med programs. On the one hand, UGA becomes a one stop shop for anything and everything you could want as far as academics go. On the other, we're taking food off the table of those two universities. Not sure how I feel overall; on the one hand, go us. On the other, what else does tech or Augusta have if not for those programs?

Sorry if this has already been covered, but didn't UGA rejection letters just come out a few weeks back? Could explain the sudden Auburn animosity.

phan, I know we ask this all the time, but it's worth repeating: Are you more angry at UGA due to being 5-9 against Richt (with 6 of those being blowouts), or over the denial of admission?

Just to expand on that first option, if you only counted Richt's wins against Auburn where the backup school was pummeled by 19 points or more, he would still have a winning record against Auburn at 6-5. When you throw in the three close wins he has against yall it's truly embarrassing.

No Auburn fan in their right mind would trade our championships and appearances in the BCS championship in recent years for your individual victories. I would also take more national championships over conference ones., As I said earlier in this thread, the national championship Auburn won in 2010 matches Georgia's total in the entire history of their football program going by the system everyone agrees upon.

I am also willing to bet we will catch and pass the mutts in conference championships before you pass in national titles given that we have won 7 conference titles since the last time the mutts even played in a national championship game

And yet we have beaten Auburn 7 of the last 9 years and we are ranked higher academically than Auburn. So, I guess Auburn MIGHT be 4th academically if they were in Georgia?

In the ORIGINAL POST of the thread UGA does not have half as many as the fifth place team which is UT.

In the post the gump tried to use as a "gotcha" to Auburn, Auburn is tied for 4th and only two away from being 2nd with an undefeated season in there not even accounted for.

My post had nothing to do with UGA and more to do with calling out a terrible flame attempt at AU.

I understand it's been a long 30+ years for you but try not to get so sensitive next time.
