What facts, stats, or events are you most disgusted about with your own program?

For Bama, I would rank it about like this:

1)The coaching debacles that encompassed most of the hires between Bear and Saban (Bebes excluded).

2)The two probations in the 90's and early 2000's

3)Only being ahead of Auburn by 9 wins in the head to head series record. An absolutely embarrassing stat for Bama considering the history of both programs. How is it not at least +20? It seems like we've literally lost that game 90 percent of the time that the score was extremely tight.

4)The Ears Whitworth era of the 50's.

5)The weird anomalous head to head records against Notre Dame and Texas. We need to schedule both of those programs a lot over the next few years and get that squared away. The two title game wins were sweet, but not sufficient.

What about your teams?

You're a young bammer. That close game shite has only happened a few times in the past decade. In the vintage days, that shite didn't happen.

No wins in the Final Four. And what, 5 straight trips for the women, without a win either?
21-0 sucked, but we had won the SEC, and I have seen two BCS titles.

The florida streak thing. There isn't a team in the sec that I have less respect for. Theyre bandwagon fans that don't deserve the recent success they've had.

This. And the state's general treatment of higher education across Louisiana.

And, no trolling intended, if I were a bama fan, I'd be considerably more ashamed of how my compatriots behaved (I.e. teabagging, murdering each other, tree poisoning, etc.) in the name of the school than of any W/L record.

We do a poor job of promoting ourselves academically. We have some excellent colleges with many super successful alums and landmark research that would be noteworthy at any of the finest institutions in the country. Auburn has a "roll up your sleeves" academic spirit that doesn't show up often because of our own poor PR efforts, and because of the state media under which we operate.

As I'm not a liberal, I don't let the actions of a handful of fans represent the greater whole.

The frick does that have to do with anything?
I love it when people try to ascribe all the bad things they see in the world to "the other" set of political beliefs. Happens every election year.

No one is trying to say that ALL bama fans behave that way. But some have/do. I'm merely pointing out that if my school's fans publicly behaved the same way at the same rate, I would consider it a point of shame.

I don't let the actions of others influence my fandom. But that's just me. There are several million Alabama fans out there and less than 1% of them ever make the news for illegal activity spawned by results on the football field. European soccer fans are much worse.

This sounds like someone answering the question "what is your greatest weakness" during an interview. Nobody is buying it.

Dude, look at the thread title. This whole conversation is about points of shame for the fans of each team/school.

Add lack of reading comprehension skills to the list if things bama fans should be ashamed of.

I'm embarrassed that our head Bag Man coordinator discussed such activities via text message. Total Bush League move that deserves stiff NCAA penalties.

And in classic LSU fan fashion, you try to project your thoughts and opinions onto the Alabama fan base, and act all outraged when one of us disagrees with them.

Dude, read it again. It's asking what you, personally, are disgusted with.

I'm not going to attempt to explain what "projection" means and why it doesn't apply here. The only one who seems outraged here is you, buttercup.

I responded with my own personal disgusts and followed it up with a critique of the OP. Then the conversation got detailed by a yahoo who couldn't keep up.
