I'd say Gus-Boom. Auburn had plenty of talent on defense and they showed little to no improvement with Boom as their defensive coordinator. Auburn spent 1.3 million on that hire too.

Did you see AU by years end ? If Will stayed another year, AU would have had a elite Defense. It took a few games to de-Ellis Johnson that Defense.

Georgia fans have some weird fixation with thinking that Pittman is the reason most Arkansas fans don't think Chaney is a good OC. It's not at all the reason.

I haven't heard anybody say that. We are thrilled to have Pittman. And we think Chaney, no matter how he does has got to be better than Schottenheimer. For that reason, we think we will be improved.

We shrugged off the Mizzou people that told us that Schottenheimer was bad. I think we learned from that.

We hear the Arkansas and Tennessee people telling us that Chaney is bad, but we still feel like he will be better than Schottenheimer, so we are cautiously optimistic.

I remember when I shrugged off the Tennessee fans about Chaney. Man were they ever right.

Pittman will do wonders for you guys though. He legit as they come in my opinion.

Probably because he was just our OC and he's at another SEC school now

It may sounds crazy, but fanbases tend to talk more about coaches that have coached there before. Especially when they return to the conference at a different school.

Well, if you think Chaney was bad, you should try Schotenheimer on for size!

We are thrilled with what we have seen from Pittman so far. Recruiting wise, he has really stepped up the pace, and we are very excited about our prospects for the OL for the next few years.

Looked like your defense was improved toward the end. It will be interesting if it will continue to show improvement with Steele or take a step back. a LOT of people, myself included felt early on your defense WOULD take a step back, but you never know. If a coach steps into the right situation at the right time, magic could happen. If your defense continues to show improvement and you find your QB....well....who knows what might happen?

Having Sam Pittman on staff does not make Jim Chaney a good hire. Jim Chaney is the worst second half play caller I've ever seen, and he did terribly bad with Pittman, or without him.

The OP's list was incomplete without the Smart - Chaney option, because it is the obvious answer.

IF Georgia even gains a lead this season in a game there is a very good chance Chaney will piss it away late in the game. And if Georgia ever falls behind by more than 7 points, get ready to watch the wheels fall completely off as Chaney goes Air Raid.

I can't wait to watch the Georgia fans melt HARD when Chaney elects to run the TE end around on 3rd and long. HAHA.

Also, I thought the jackoff comment on the last page was a good touch. The Arkansas brother had no reason to apologize.

Last 2 recruiting cycles no DTs?

So Daylon Mack and Kingsley KeKe didn't sign in 2015?

Jim Chaney was bad enough that about midway through that last season he was here someone took to Craigslist and posted his picture in the "free" section. It was a pretty hilarious ad. Something about him going out to the curb with the rest of the trash unless someone wanted to come pick him up.

In hindsight, it was no surprise at all that he left at the end of that year. EVERYONE was SCREAMING for that SOB to be fired.

We get it. Did you see Schottenheimer's playcalling all game long? Chaney has GOT to be better than that.

Why? I don't get why you "can't wait" to see somebody elses team melt hard....unless they are playing against your own team or you hate them that much.

Chill, man. We get it. You hate Chaney and you gladly let Pittman go to get rid of Chaney.

Actually, we've landed a 5 star and two 4 star DTs in the last two recruiting cycles. Yes, our run defense has been bad, which makes it even more amazing that's he helped as manage one of the best scoring defenses in the SEC.

I don't hate Chaney. Haha.
Just answering the OPs question to the best of my knowledge.

And calm down, it's football we are talking about here. Smack talk comes with the territory. I don't dislike your team any more than I dislike LSU, and Alabama, and Auburn, and Florida, etc.

No you're not. The OP gave specific choices. Chaney wasn't one of them.

Calm down? I am calm. Georgia is having a great day today.

Then why can you "Not wait until Chaney...etcetcetblahblahblah...

Your own words indicate you either hate Chaney or really dislike UGA. that's ok. We aren't fond of Schottenheimer and don't like Florida, Auburn or GT. But we admit it.

"Guschamp" was probably the most hyped, had the biggest combined salary, and produced the poorest results.
