This is huge. Mizzou will struggle on D next year.

Agree with the DE for sure, both of the backups were ok but not outstanding in the rotation, nothing like Ray & Golden backing up Sam & Ealy the year before. Starting DT's will be good but depth is unknown. I would honestly expect a step down in D but the offense getting slightly better

If Coach Mac is given some time, and a good DC, Florida can be competitive again in a year or two.

Georgia has the talent, I think coaching breakdowns kills them every year. They need a better QB too, the dude they have now, with the DIII arm, will not cut it.

Tennessee . . . I just don't know. They need better players all around. I'm talking about stringing together 3-4 years of good recruiting, not just one.

To me the east favorites will be Missouri. They earned my respect this year and with Mauck returning they should be preseason #1. They will have a lot to replace at the DL though, which was their only truly elite spot so they could slip off to 3rd or 4th possibly.

Next I think you'd have to go UGA and TN with TN having the slight advantage due to TN knowing who their QB will be and having UGA in Knoxville. But UGA will still have the overall talent advantage so it will be very close.

Then I think you have UF and USC who will both have QB and Coaching transition of some sort in the next tier. Who makes the best adjustments will determine which of these teams will join the other 3 fighting for the East title.

Kentucky will slightly improve and get to 6 wins.

Vandy will be a disaster yet again.

We will still be young but we will have SEC talent in every class and position next year.

Sr - Curt Maggitt-DE, Brian Randolph-FS, Marcus Jackson-OL, Pig Howard-WR, Von Pearson-WR, Owen Williams-DT, Chris Weatherd - LB

Jr- Marquez North-WR, Cam Sutton-CB, Josh Dobbs-QB, Jalen Reeves Maybin-LB, Danny O'Brien-DT, Jason Croom-WR, "Dontavious Blair-OL heard he as all talent in the world just wasn't ready mentally this season which is why he RS"

SO- Jalen Hurd-RB, Alvin Kamara-RB, Josh Malone-WR, Daniel Helm-TE, Ethan Wolf-TE, Jashon Robertson-OL, Coleman Thomas-OL, Dillon Bates-LB, Cortez McDowell-LB, Evan Berry-FS, Todd Kelly Jr-SS, DEREK BARNETT-DE, Dwayne Hendrix-DE, Rashaan Gaulden-NB

FR- Jack Jones-OL, Khalil McKenzie-DT, Shy Tuttle-DT, Preston Williams-WR, Andrew Butcher-DE, and more.

Those are only players that I think have upper level SEC talent and don't include a lot of contributors. Jones has rebuilt the roster to a much higher talent level VERY Quickly.

Mizz seemingly has to be considered first, they are just fricking scrappy and seem to always hit a good stride in the backstretch. Past two years are proof

SC/UGA/TN all have good things and unknowns

UF has more unknowns than knowns

KY is getting close

Vandy keeps the overall IQ of the league up

Whichever "sacrificial lamb" we send to the SECCG doesn't matter because we all know it will not be against tDecline U

Probably Georgia again.

Doesn't Georgia lose Conley, Bennett, and Rump at receiver? Even if Malcom Mitchell comes back, he could always get hurt just lacing up his shoes

Getting a healthy Mitchell and JSW back will help ease the pain. Losing Rumphsquatch isn't going to be a big loss for us

Good thing he's graduating this year and the kid stepping in supposedly has a stronger arm than Stafford when he was at UGA.

This isn't an indictment on georgia either at all, that's just typically how college fotoabll works in my experience.
I hear what you're saying. The kid behind Mason has played some this year and has the ability to make our passing game to a level between this year and Aaron Murray. He'll make some mistakes because he has a cannon and trusts his arm. However, we should be able to see some more deep balls again that will open up the running game even more. (hopefully)

Would not be surprised to see Brantley drop down to about 275 and play DE. Especially if we land Beckner.

The DL will be a strength as long as Coach Kul is here.

We also lose most of wideouts. Although given the way they played that might be a good thing. I think mizzou battles with Scar and FL for third in the east next year

I see Georgia as the only challenge to Mizzou next year. If Georgia can pull their collective heads out of their asses and be consistent, they can beat anyone.

Belk Bowl kicks arse and is just so fricking funny.

I have literally dreamt of the day this happens. Hopefully my children will get to see it, but I don't have so much hope for myself.
