What do you think of QB in the SEC next year?

Just wondering what some of your thoughts are about the QB play next year. Do you all think it will be more of a defense year like old times(2 years ago lol) with a few teams having new starting QBs? Just love to hear some of your thoughts...

A lot of new QBs that will have big shoes to fill and something to prove.
Who knows how each react. Some will be winners and more will be failures.

That is why I am wondering if a great defense can hold up next year with great rbs. I hope the best for all the qbs and I admit Jennings need to show up or Rettig and Harris will have something to say about that.

I think that the SEC has likely lost a ton of offensive talent this year across the board so yeah I would give the defenses a leg up. I can only speak for UGA- Mason is going to have to step up right away with clemson and USCe out of the gate.

I think we will see a lot sloppy play form the offensive side at first from most of the new qb schools but hopefully they progress throughout the year. I just do not want sloppy offensive teams from the SEC again, LSU included.

After what I've seen with the All-American game I'm not sold that Harris will be ready to compete for a starting spot at LSU next fall.
I think Jennings is the answer but Rettig can hold his own too. It'll be interesting to watch it unfold.

Yeah. I am to sold on Harris yet either, he looks like he's actually pretty good guy who can mature quickly under Cam. Is till think Rettig needs a shot and will get plenty of practice time when camps open back up. I feel like OL will be a HUGE advantage this year if your team is stout in those positions.

Jennings will be the best first year starter

A&M is going to have HUGE shoes to fill. However, Hill and Allen will probably fight for the position all the way into the Fall. Both will be available for Spring Football.
A&M has better talent at QB than it has probably ever had. And Murray's son is on deck for the 2015 QB class.

When you look at the big name running backs compared to the big name QBs the disparity is huge.
Bama: Yeldon/Henry/Drake
LSU: LF coming in
SCar: Mike Davis
UGA: Gurley/Marshall
Auburn: CAP/Grant/Marshall
Then for QBs you have all fresh faces:
Alabama: Who knows? Cornwell/Coker/Bateman
LSU: Jennings?
Mizzou: Maty Mauk (not entirely fresh faced but still new)
UGA: loses Murray, not sure who comes after
ATM: loses JFF, not sure who comes after
Florida and Auburn keep their QBs. Auburn's seems most secure.

Hutson Mason, the guy who started the last two games. He's not Murray but he should be good and how he hopefully won't have to score 30+ every game

Think Florida's situation gets any better on offense? I just do not see it. I think Auburn is set up in a good position but since they are an option team and running will be key this year.

I am not sure he beats out Mitch or Nosovitch. Mitch throws better and Noso can run, something SOS has fallen in love with.
I like Thompson, too, and he does have some experience. That said, one can bet he will be on a short chain with a choker.
