Not going to rank them until they coach a game, but on paper, Florida hired a top notch staff that has the potential to be a Top 5 staff in the SEC

I don't know if he's being serious or not, but I've heard that before and know some Arkansas fans believe it. On the record, I've only heard that Shannon's leaving was unexpected and that he wasn't fired. However, Bielema goes above and beyond to take care of his assistants and probably wouldn't admit it if it were true. The same media people who say he wasn't fired, also say that he didn't do much and was a little lackadaisical. I personally think they liked his recruiting contacts and that he wasn't fired, but I don't think they miss him much, either.

Gumps seem pretty high on Mac. Will just have to take their word for it until he's sank or swam in the sec on his own merits.
Liked Nussmeier as a player, don't know anything about him as a coach.
On paper, the defensive guys seem like solid hires.

Geoff Collins is my biggest concern. Just not sold on him. MSU fans seemed happy to be rid of the guy.
