I started out this season going on a 25-30 minute walk right around when the game started and I'd come back to find I missed only the first two drives and there was about 10 minutes left in the first quarter.

I usually pause it while doing g something else and let it record on the DVR so I can feed thru the commercials and halftime. Helps the game flow better.
Unless it's a night game, in which case I usually watch it in real time.
