Sumlin IS NOT on the hot seat. He is solid with the only people that count.

The people that count have never wasted time on this forum

And Butch's seat is scorching. The fan base hates change, so I have no doubt you'll see multiple posters argue Butch is safe. But he isn't. Maybe he'll survive 8-4 if he beats Florida again. 7-5 gets him gone.

If he is better than .500, he will be back. 6-6 or worse is the only way you will see him pushed out.

What part of, "The Board of Regents has to approve any and all contract extensions" do you not understand?

If A&M has a shitty to mediocre season this year and Sumlin is EXTENDED (with only 1 year left on a contract, you either fire or extend), you will see 70,000 or fewer seats filled at Kyle Field next season.

Butch will probably manage to pull off a miracle and we'll extend his contract to some absurd number for a really long time and leave ourselves a 100 million dollar buyout. That would be my guess.

I also think Stoops is quietly on the hot seat. UK has built up some decent expectations this season. Anything less than 7 wins is probably the end for Mark.

Less than 7 wins and his seat may get warm. But it's certainly not "the end" if he does. There is an expectation to get back to a bowl game but he bought a lot of rope with the win over a Top 10 ranked Louisville at Louisville tacked onto a bowl eligible season. He's also continued to recruit well.

meh,I don't see Bret being on a hot seat. He's been upgrading on assistant coaches and the recruiting is getting better.

He is also getting grades up and arrests are near non existent.

He's willing to make changes when needed and hopefully he can get over the hump.I hope he can because I like his style of coaching. We'll see..

That' along with the ridiculous buyout is why I ranked him 3rd on the list. But 10-22 and overall losing record after 4 years puts him on the hot seat. Do you think if he goes 6-6, he keeps his job?

At the end of last season, I thought that Butch would need to tank to get fired this year. However, Currie is cleaning house so it seems like he's on thinner ice than I would have originally assessed.

Sumlin has burned through any goodwill and capital he built between 2012-2013. Anything short of a spectacular season and he's done.

Serrano had to go regardless of who the AD was. He just couldn't get it going here. I have no idea why the Tennis coach was fired tho. The recent record was bad but the overall record was pretty damn good.

sad state of the Tennessee program here. Not winning a shitty east for the fifth consecutive year won't get him fired.

Welcome to Ole miss, no fricks given anymore status.
