Yeah because we've never contended for anything in forty years.

The only thing that will stop this team next year is a championship hangover.

We will undoubtedly be equally or more talented with more experience.

It's hard to imagine they'll be better next year.

I'm pretty sure most people said there was no way our D would be as good as last year because of losing PP7, Nevis, and Shep. .

Wrong then and will be wrong again. Believe it or not this D is much better than last years. Next year there may be a slight drop off but it won't be much. We will lose Taylor and Claiborne which will hurt but Simon has showed that he can play with the best and Loston is no slouch. Randle may go but we will always have capable receivers.

The only thing that will hold LSU back next year is not having the same "swag" and confidence that this team has.

losses will do it.

1. QB's are going to be untested, both emotionally/psychologically and on field performance.
There may be competition. Some guys like that. Some want it handed to them.

2. injuries happen. will the younger players have the understanding of their position and the skill and attitude?

3. tough road games.

4. other teams will be up for the games. for some it will be their biggest game.
