Playoffs or bust.

LSU is NextYearU but I really feel this is a huge year for the program. No excuses. For Les, it's put up or get the hell out of town. If he stays stubborn and doesnt't change his ways, it will be another disappointing season.

The pieces are in place. Ole Miss and Bama are at home with a bye in between. Fournette and the '14 class don't deserve to go out with another disappointing season. Also, for the local recruits, this is a pivotal season. We'll see what happens.

Les' tone this offseason says that he knows he's got a horse to win it all. I think that'll translate to him trusting in his team (particularly QB & WRs) with the playcalling.

See us winning SEC but losing to either UF or Arkansas

LSU will not be a factor. How many times do we need to go down this unpaved road?

All depends on our QB/Oline play. If they play great I see 8-10 wins. If they play poorly 6-7 wins.

Georgia is the biggest wildcard in the entire conference imo. I could see them anywhere from 7-5 or 8-4 to 10 or 11 wins depending on how Kirby does in year 1.

I'll agree with the premise in that we are a bit of a wildcard right now, but where are our 5 losses coming from? Are you saying we lose all of UNC, Ole Miss, UT, UF, and another game? I put our most likely at 9-3 +/-1.

That sounds good and all but it seems too good to be true. If I don't see Fournette and Guice in the backfield at the same time with our stud receivers, I'll lose it.

11-1 is my prediction...I know we beat LSU in the Swamp and we have Mizzou, USC, UK also in the Swamp with UGA in Jax for the annual WLOCP. Away we have UT (could lose to them finally...ehh naw), Vandy, Arkie. Schedule is set up pretty good.Girls school away in final game of the year for regular season.

We rep the east since even IF we lose to UT they will implode and lose to Bama and at least one other team or two.

Probably play Bama in rematch in Hotlana...maybe even different results this time and everyone will know why McElwain got a 3/4 million raise after 1 year.

We'll go 11-1, win the SECC, and go to the playoffs. But barring an injury to Watson, Clemson should win the NC.

See that's the thing in the Sec. For instance, Miss State has had Arkansas number 4 straight years yet they've has success vs Ole Miss and Lsu. The Sec is brutal and you never know who the spoiler is. And so it goes....

6-6 or 7-5. Wouldn't be bad for a first year coach who everyone thinks sucks coaching a team that won 3 games last year

Well now that Boom fired our equipment manager of the last 16 years im changing my prediction to 4-8. Season ruined

I just don't see the East competing with the West this season. I think the East is still 1 year away from playoffs.

Or two.

I'm hesitant to jump on the LSU championship bandwagon. Sure we return a lot and by all accounts made a great DC hire but we haven't seen the onfield product. Les and Cam still running the offense is cause for concern. I think 10-2 would be a successful season. Unless the beats are bad like last year.

C'mon, man. If LSU goes 10-2, and ya'll have the talent to, that's a great year. This "National Championship or bust" time we live in can be exhausting.

As for us, way too many variables and new players to have a good feel yet. I will say that Bret has started building depth that has rarely been seen here, and that should translate into consistency. No more very lean "rebuilding years" after a couple of solid seasons.
