I've heard stories that there used to be a sign in Vicksburg crossing the river that said "Welcome to Louisiana. Please set your clocks back 4 seconds".

I enjoyed 2013. A suspension and injury riddled Rebs team beat a top ten Tigers team on a cold October full moon night with a last second field goal 27-24. It wasn’t a very clean game. Both teams had a few turnovers. But it was a thriller, for sure.

What's the win/lose the last 20 years? Not much of a rivalry

I know it’s much past 20 years, but Cannon’s run. Also, most of us weren’t alive.

You need to focus on making a bowl game and let Ole Miss and LSU have some discussions among themselves, Dawg.

LSU 15-5 (.750) the last 20 years. LSU leads the overall series 65-41 (.613). To be fair, the past 20 years are the greatest in LSU history. It feels good to have a rival that has been there to provide us with so many great memories in this era!

Does that account for all the games each team's had to vacate

I look at vacated wins like I look at “vacated sex” if you know what I mean!

Not everyone remembers the reason for the kneel with 5 minutes to go

Mettenberger called his own number on a named bootleg and almost scored. Miles was pissed that he did that and made him kneel.

Replay showed Mettenberger scoring but Miles didn't want to challenge it.

So many great Ole Miss moments have happened off the field.

Not really LSU related:

Hugh Freeze uses a university phone to hire hookers. (He was making millions but too cheap to drop $50 on a prepaid Walmart phone.)

That stoned OL who got drafted and immediately spilled the beans on illegal payments.

LSU related Ole Miss moments:

2008, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2021. And the other 36 times. 2011 is honestly funny as hell so I’ll include that one.

That stoned OL is a top 3 left tackle in the NFL and has never had an agent and negotiated the two largest contracts ever for offensive lineman. That gas mask did him well damnit ??

I have always wondered how Ole Miss fans felt when he went 15-0 and won the NC in 2019.

Imagine if Curley Hallman would have gone to Ole Miss and won a NC after we declared him our worst HC ever. It had to hurt.

I honest to god didn't give a shite about O winning it but did feel happy for him. It was pretty obvious that this championship was because of Joe and Joe. O was just along for the ride.

One thing about O is that he never strayed from his roots or tried to hide who he was. He's a coon arse from south Louisiana and proud of it.
I was actually happy to see him to achieve such a lofty goal after being crapped on for so long.

He did exactly what he was hired to do up to that point (recruit ,motivate, hire a good staff and then stay out of the way). It was Ed who brought In Joe and Joe to elevate the offense from the 70’s style ground and pound that Les ran. I’ll give him credit for that. Obviously he ran the program into the ground which he also gets full credit!
