This is what I've gathered and I don't understand the rules really and why they are shaped the way they are.

Rainout game on Thursday

Friday- play game 2.

Saturday Doubleheader- replay game one. Freeman on second, Duplantis at the plate on a full count, and I believe one out (?) Then, the game will be played a full nine more innings to determine the winner.

3pm game 3- if game 1 doesn't end by 3 pm, then this game will be called to start game 3 and they will go back to game 1 after the third game is complete.

Does any of this seem to complicated for a goddamn game that was only rained out?

I think it goes to a shoot-out if three on three doesn't settle it within three innings.

After how many over times?

Anyway, just think it's crazy there could be three appearances for one game.

That's false.

As for why the rules are shaped the way they are, it's all about the TV schedule.

Why couldn't they put game one on Sunday and have ESPN3 cover it?
