Background: I am creating a man cave and I am planning on collecting prints of iconic sports photos.

In y'alls opinions what are the images that would fit?

2. Bear Bryant leaning against goalpost. Getty Images

3. Billy Cannon's Halloween run. Wikipedia

4. Woody Hayes punching Clemson player. ESPN

5. The Play: Cal vs. Stanford. Wikipedia

6. Lindsay Scott's catch against Florida in 1980. ESPN

7, Alabama's Tommy Lewis comes off the sideline to make a tackle. ESPN

8. Bear Bryant and Pat Dye Hunting Trip. (Link Pending)

9. Bear Bryant Lifting up Gene Stallings after the A&M upset. (Link Pending)

10. Texas A&M 12th Man in the Rain. (For some reason I think that is a really cool image)

11. Texas A&M Bonfire (Gonna find a good image from years gone by)

12. UGA attempting to bite the Auburn player.

13. Bear Bryant congratulating Johnny Majors after the UT win.

14. Hershel walker trucking Bates.

15. Army/Navy Images

16. Wrong Way Reigels

17. 4 Horsemen

18. Alabama Rose Bowl

19. Alabama Penn State Goal Line Stand

I am thinking an early image the A&M bonfire would possibly make my list. (No troll) Even with the tragedy the bonfire was an awesome tradition I knew about as a youngster.

What would be some other ideas for A&M?

This is the new #1, and that's not even questionable.

It is an iconic image...but that does not mean it is going on my wall.

That is certainly a possibility. I would prefer a more historical image of Texas however. But I may end up with that image on my wall.

Nobody outside of the state of Alabama and a handful of hardcore football fans in other places has any clue what that image is even of, or who any of the people pictured are. Hardly iconic.

Don't care what anyone says about Paterno, but this picture is just incredible.

1000 more or less wins between the 3.

For something bonfire related, look up Brian Gamble after recovering game winning fumble.

I would prefer a more historical image of Texas

1970 Cotton Bowl versus Notre Dame (the Longhorns converted the fourth down depicted on the scoreboard with the game-winning touchdown)

1969 Texas vs. Arkansas, the winner of which (Texas) was presented a plaque as the national champion (the only time a President proclaimed a national champion), following the last regular season game of the 100th season of college football

Freddie Steinmark on the sideline of the 1970 Cotton Bowl, after his left leg was amputated (he played sparingly in the Texas/Arkansas game mentioned previously). You may have seen the recent movie about him, "My All American"

Probably my favorite picture of Earl Campbell

Hell, I bet the majority of people in the state of Alabama don't even know what that is. I can't name anyone in the picture other than Davis. Iconic? Please.

Yep, was about to say Howard scoring on the punt return against Notre Dame with the Heisman pose. Frazier miraculously running through Florida defenders on a long run in the title game in 1996 or something stands out as well.
