I've always heard that these two are underwhelming.

I've been to most of them ... between our years in the ACC and our years as an Independent basically playing a Metro Conference schedule ... plus I've been to The Big House, The Horseshoe, The Coliseum, The Rose Bowl, Airforce, Army, Navy, Notre Dame several, old Orange Bowl, Joe Robbie ...
I can promise everyone here, and I have had this confirmed by friends who have visited me over the years ... nothing in this country compares to SEC football environments. It's not even close. Everything else is hype with the possible exception of Clemson and FSU when they are playing really well and I did like Nebraska.

Hawaii has an awesome stadium. Saw Bama there twice and a couple of Pro-Bowls. Always thought if they could land the right sponsor, they could step up in the Bowl pecking order. Luau atmosphere and the islanders love them some football!

Solid list other than tx. Nothing fancy there. Check out the cotton bowl during tx/ou. Lot more fun.
Would be great if army/navy was played at west point. I went there as a kid. Place is amazing.

Other than the fact that it's in Hawaii, you will be disappointed.

2. Ohio State
3. It's in the SEC, but I am old, and want to see it. LSU.

The Big House. Outside of football, Duke vs UNC at Cameron Indoor. That's on my bucket list.

Come on man .... Aloha Stadium is a dump. I've been there twenty times over the years - we just sold our condo in Honlulu recently. It's one of the biggest shitholes in the NCAA. Our condo was right on the Ala Wai at Waikiki and we used to catch the shuttle down H1 from the Manoa Campus which we looked down upon from our back deck ... would tailgate practically in the Pearl Harbor visitor's center parking lots.
Visiting Hawaii is one thing - Aloha Stadium though, one of the biggest let-downs in my memory. My first trip there was in 1980 ... it was a decent stadium back then. They could give a crap about that stadium. Our last trip over they were bitching about not having any money for improvements because they were spending all of their money on the new railroad.
