Why would you over-exert yourself and risk getting hurt if you have no chance of getting a title or going to a rad bowl game?

Just wonderin'

The love of one another, not the hatred of somebody else.

I think some people just underestimate some of the pride players have, not saying it applies to all but nobody wants to get their arse kicked.

Because they're getting paid to play.

Are you saying Leonard Fournette wasn't paid enough to play in his last bowl game?

If you are locked in, showcasing your talent against the best you face, trying to build a football future after football purgatory.

Hahaha it's pretty much the same reason ole miss plays every year...they never have a shot at winning a title dude. Co-champions of the sec west doesn't count at any other school besides Podunk U so don't go there. Lose the head to head and stay at home and watch LSU play for the title and still claim it, that's just sad.

You might want to be proactive with your screen name. Go ahead and change it to BowlBan2k17-18

Keep that 'lack of motivation' in your back pocket. After Ole Miss goes 4-8 or so a couple times over the next 5 years, it's a ready-made excuse.

has more than one meaning. Although probation is the proper term here, prohibition works as well.

OlMiss quit on Freeze last year.

There's no way all that talent should get pink-socked by Vandy and MSU.

It'll be interesting to see if he can re-ignite the fire, but history says its doubtful.
