What are LSU fans expectations for Brandon Harris?

With the media pimping the Tigers as being poised for some kind of championship run, obviously somebody somewhere thinks Harris must've drastically improved. Don't get me wrong, I think he's talented but he's just a true sophomore and looked completely overwhelmed for the majority of last year. If he has turned a corner, there's no reason to not buy into the hype. With the weapons on that offense LSU is a quarterback away from making some noise this year

Throw the ball to his teammates this year.

I have no idea what to expect from him. He had some trouble last season as a true freshman. He'll have a few bumps this year as well. He has a ton of talent and I HOPE he has a great season.

I'm setting the over/under at 2750 yards, 20 TDs.

You know how I know you don't know what you're talking about?

Other than his first start, as a true freshman, on the road, in primetime against a ranked Auburn team, he looked very good. After that game, which was before the midpoint of the season, he didn't play again.

Just need a game manager. Let the big dogs in the backfield eat.

That said, word out of camp is that he's looked the part. We shall see...

If Harris puts up Brandon Allen numbers from last year LSU won't lose a game this year.

You're actually right. I just looked at his stats and he played very well up until the Auburn game. I guess that's the last impression he made on me - hence the "overwhelmed" comment

Pass well enough to keep the defense honest so that Fournette can go crazy.

Don't turn the ball over.

Don't take sacks.

I don't expect him to be Jameis Winston.

Farmer1906, that is a good bar. I'm thinking in the 2500 range, so not too far off. If he gets to 20 TD's (I will count running as well) and single digit int's, we should be in really good shape.

Honestly i really dont know what to expect. I know he has talent and can make all the throws, but that really doesnt matter if he can't read defenses and run the offense properly.

He could be good and then again he might fall flat on his face. It's a complete unknown in my opinion.

They should be high if he has matured and is mentally ready to lead the offense.
