bullshite, Its a certainty that LSU has the better defense. Bam a had zero answer for LSU in the overtime, LSU was fresh, game over 9-6. It doesn't need any explanation.
LSU is the best team in the country in all phases, and it has shown in their play

I don't get why they are #2.
1 win against a ranked opponent and champion of nothing. That is all they got except that they lost to LSU in OT.

What bothers me most is that every fan base has used "LSU backed into the 2007 championship." to suit them, including and especially the Bama fans since 2009. WTF are they trying to do now?

I think you're wrong. First, an average college kicker would hit about 1 out of 4 50 yard field goals, so, fail. Second, and this is the part you really don't get, it had nothing to do with missing field goals. If Bama had hit 40 field goals LSU would have scored 121. That's what winners do. You'll see in the rematch. Bama will probably score 17 points on LSU...and they'll lose again.

Bama's D is more stout between the tackles, no doubt about that. LSU's defense is more of a risk/reward type. LSU's D is more versatile as well. LSU has stood up to the power of Bama and the speed of Oregon. All things considered, I rate the two defenses as even. At the end of the day it doesn't matter. Who has the best D, like who gets the most first downs, is irrelevant. Who wins is what matters.

Hub you appear to be a statistics man and are obsessed with making absolutely sure that LSU fans, which don't give a shite, are fully aware that Alabama is better in this or that catalepsy. I'll give you 3 statistics. 9-6, 41-17, and 2. The last being the number of times we have knocked you out of a national championship and the number of times the Hogs have CHOKED on a national stage. Now that is a statistic you should interest yourself in since it concerns your team, not mine.
