There are some good LSU fans, and god knows that Bama has their share of idiots too.
But, what LSU fans don't get:
After decades of being Bama's doormat, they finally feel like they've taken the lead with their recent success. But, it's not happening like their subconscious expected. Bama isn't acting like a little bitch as LSU was for so long. Bama fans still think they have a great team and might beat LSU in a rematch. This frustrates LSU fan. "Why aren't they grovelling? We beat them two times in a row! We want the respect that Bama got for so long!"
Now, I'm not saying that LSU fans are smart enough to realize that this is why they're miffed. They just feel a burning anger inside them that the media and Bama fans themselves do not see the Bama team or program as being inferior to LSU. They want to be undisputed king. And most of them are deathly afraid of playing another game and losing to Bama which would further undermine the image they want to create.
LSU fans are going to laugh at this and call it ridiculous, which is what I would expect. But it is largely true.

What LSU does not get. There are no rules saying you have to win a conference to play in the BCSCG.

Bama was inside LSU 30 for 17 plays for a net -12 yards. There's a reason those FGs were tough.

extra points on their side changes plays on our side. they make the 3 points and have to kick off to LSU changing the play calling at that point.

Arky won 3 of last 5, of course before this it was 3 out of 4.

lsu won 34 of the last 56, of course before the game on friday it was 33 out of 55.

See my original post, I said it them. Still several 1 loss teams in major conferences, is subjective. LSU's #1 is not.
