I actually think Bielema is going to do ok at Arkansas.
No clue why.
Gut feeling.

We all heard rumors that the DB's would get yelled at for trying to defend the ball.

I also heard that during practice he allowed WR's to run free while DB's kind of idly watched. If so, I can see this helping with timing but I see no way of getting a great D doing this.

We heard the same, the offense was always supposed to win, always...

BB said in one of his early interviews last year that he had to make the D start celebrating deflections/picks in practice because they were so used to getting in trouble from BP.

That is true.

Also if a DB made a play on the ball during practice/scrimmages, BP would chew their asses out for it.

Bowl eligible or beating one of the Big 6

If he doesnt accomplish either than he will be on the hot seat

Thanks for the response(s). Bret has a tough road but we'll see how he does. I thought he was a good hire at the time and I still think so.

We could win 3 games or we could win 9.

Players gotta play...need a little luck.

We'll be better

2015 is when I am going to judge if he is the right man for the job or not. It'll be nearly all his recruits and it will have a lot of upper classmen in it.

this, anything else is putting the cart before the horse.

I'd be satisfied with a bowl birth.

To be convinced he's the right man for the job? 8-9 wins.

Should be berth but I will leave it like this to show I'm an idiot.

Despite the overall record, (and a hurt QB with no capable backup), if you watched carefully - we did improve in overall play as the year went on last year.

Signs of further improvement will be enough. Sure would be nice to improve the record, but that's not a given with the schedule we have.

The receiving corps will be better.
Running backs will be good to very good.
O-Line will have to solidify at center and left guard but otherwise will be good
Tight Ends should be good.
QB is the area none of us are sold on. If one can throw with some consistency at all it will be a big improvement.

Defensive line should be good enough, especially if Bijohn can step in and play. Flowers gonna wreck shite. Philon showed signs of All SEC potential as well.

LB won't be any worse and possibly could be a little better.

DB's should be a good bit better, still don't have the guy we want at safety I don't think, but hopefully we'll be adequate there as well.

So, overall we will be a better team I believe. If I see better overall play and more competitiveness I will be satisfied this year. Hoping for a couple of conference wins.
