Losing to Auburn in that 2004 game pissed me off to no end. I was still at an age where LSU losses ruined my day and all the bullshite surrounding that game plus Jimbo's horrible offensive gameplan really got under my skin. That was one of the best LSU teams ever and we should have gone undefeated if Saban wasn't still kind of a frickup back then.

The top has to be the NC 2013 loss to FSU.

This year's loss to UGA was the biggest kick in the nuts though.

for LSU it is the Monday Night game vs Tennessee.

Les Miles said "it would be best to take the air out of the ball up 21-3"

21-0 cannot be the answer to this question because LSU beat Alabama in the game of the Century and 21-0 was only the game of the year.

Game of the Century > Game of the year

Mine is toss up between 2013 Tennessee and 2011 Auburn at home. They were such garbage that year and pretty sure Garcia played drunk. Damn you Garcia

Second was 2010 Auburn. I'll never forget the refs giving Fannin that touchdown that was fumbled at the 1. Ball never came within a foot of the line.

Auburn won by 22 dude, might be time to let this one go

frick that game. frick you for bringing it up. And frick this thread

I honestly never think about the NC game

In threads like this I do, but honestly it's not one of my more painful losses. If I think of what another title would have brought, I understand it's one of the worse, but it's not the nightmare games our UGA thumpings, etc. were.

Maybe it's because I felt like AU was playing with house money all year in 2013.

As a player, it's your last game at any level. I still remember that crushing feeling as my team lost its last high school game. Fortunately for me, my team won our last college game - losing that one would have been almost unbearable I'm sure.

And before and au fans start beating their chests it wasn't because of Cam, I always thought was and is a great athlete, it was because we just couldn't stop him and to be up three scores.

Worst loss was Bama beating Bama.

2012 SEC Championship game. That was pretty much the 'national championship' game considering how overrated Notre Dame was.

It was 4th and goal from the 15. You guys had to score to tie. I was making a half hearted reference to a bigger miracle.

not sure I"ll ever get over the '12 SECCG. After I wasn't even mad or pissed off, it was just the biggest overwhelming feeling of disappointment. Like what I imagine it'd feel like if your son called you from jail and he was locked up for robbing a bank or something, just completely deflating.

2012 Bama @ LSU was worse than the 2011 BCSNCG for me.

This is a great answer and I imagine we are similar ages. I took some of those Shula years losses harder than anything, and you would have thought I would have been accustomed to that in those years.

The Cam-back game was an interesting moment for me. Watching that disaster unfold in BDS on an otherwise perfect day resulted in something of a revelation for me. That loss made me irrationally mad for like a week or two and ultimately I was like "frick, this is dumb" and just kind of forgot about it. From that moment forward I've just enjoyed the ride and don't really mind the losses. So I can thank Cam for teaching me this valuable lesson.

Of course, I did have a brief relapse the afternoon of the kick six. Right after that happened I had to regroup by quietly pounding about three beers by myself in the corner of the room before I was able to rejoin the party I was at.
