now, you need to get your facts straight. Glynn Griffing was a MS boy that was able to achieve that
ETA: I'll wait while Ole Miss fans google his name

I remember this board when blatant troll threads weren't tolerated.

No, you should get yours straight.
The SECCG started in 1992.

Because I yearn for the days when a young and talented Louisiana quarterback won't waste away and get arrested in Baton Rouge?

my bad, misread, thought you were referencing just sec titles. guess i was trying to give mississippi too much credit. it is kind of funny that wayne madkin has done something no other mississippi qb has

How did I look like a fool? He played in one real game. That's not integral. Miles agreed with me when he didn't play RP in the next game.
As for Eli vs RP, if you want to waste your time comparing those two, be my guest. Put as many limitations on the comparison as you would like until you limit it to SECCG MVP.

I hope Harris bucks the trend and actually isn't ruined by Les Miles and his antics.

Understood. I was trying not to go back to the 1960's because that's what it would take if you wanted to see when they last sniffed an SEC title game.

Lol, you're making this difficult for me, Alonzo. That's two things now. You're backing me into a corner.

This is one of the worst attempts at trolldom I've ever seen. Comparing Brandon Harris to JJ is asinine. I don't think JJ was considered a "can't miss" prospect. He was a solid prospect but didn't come in with NEARLY the same fanfare even close to Mett, Ryan Perrilloux or even Anthony Jennings. JJ was forced into action (by default) by way of Jarrett Lee throwing a bunch of interceptions, while Harris could very well win the QB job over a player with experience from the year before.
All together, a very very sad troll attempt.

I just mentioned that a "non-integral" Backup QB that Les Miles ruined and couldn't keep from getting arrested actually achieved something that your award-winning, Louisiana-native, pride and joy of Klansland never achieved during his individually-decorated career on the plantation.
