Basically, what I'm getting from y'all is that y'all were excited about JJ for the future, correct?

not really. he was just the only option LSU had after Perrilloux. Jefferson wasn't even as highly touted as Jarrett Lee was coming out of high school. It was just a bad situation after RP's dismissal. He and Harris' situation aren't comparable at all at this point outside that they were both black dual threat QBs that may start a game as a freshman

Name one QB Miles recruited out of high school that panned out. If you say RP, you are claiming him as Miles prodigy QB...and he only played two games. Let that soak in

name the last starting QB ole miss had that was recruited out of high school. It's been over 10 years iirc. I think it's extremely ignorant to say that Zach Mettenberger wasn't developed by the LSU coaching staff. His vast improvement from 2012 to 2013 is pretty substantial evidence LSU did a fantastic job developing him. Jarrett Lee, who Miles recruited btw, went from a pick 6 machine his freshman year to setting a school record for most passes without an interception. Is that not development either?

I'm a muhfrickin' master chef.

If you can't get panties off, whip up some alfredo or pesto sauce, grill some chicken, put that shite on noodles, and wash it down with a couple bottles of wine. It works at least 75% of the time.

So bc 1 QB in the Miles era sucked, Brandon Harris is doomed to failure? That's what I'm getting out of your ridiculous logic.

I've been humoring you this entire time about Miles, but perhaps I should inform you that he doesn't coach QBs. He's got a whole other guy for that, who, by the way, has a pretty impressive fricking resume. But hey, keep pretending there's a trend and that nothing is different from '08. It should keep you nice & numb until your reckoning day.

Not the point at hand here.

Never said he wasn't. I do think he was. Which brings me back to my point, I guess it's that Miles can't scout talent. Miles one decent LSU QB was a transfer.

Who is hired by Miles. Your QB coach is a reflection on Miles.

And one QB has sucked in Miles era? Lee + Shepard + JJ + Anthony Jennings = 4

every QB he's recruited was recruited highly by everyone else. you act like evaluating high school QB's and projecting them at the next level is an exact science or something. One bad QB is not an indication Miles can't evaluate talent, but I guess we do live in a black and white world on the internet

Shepard took zero snaps at QB. The old narrative was Miles lied to Shepard about giving him a real shot playing QB and forced him to switch to receiver. Which one is it? And Lee had one bad season. He had a fantastic senior season. And I think it's far too premature to say jennings sucks. He's played in one full game in his career. Miles also got burned by Zach Lee when he chose an MLB career after fall practice had begun (a wise choice for Lee)

and let's be real, Nick Saban recruited one QB at LSU that was any more impressive than anything Les Miles has, Jamarcus Russell. he also recruited, and started, one just as bad, Marcus Randall.

Lsu doesn't need a good quarterback to win games.

Even with a good quarterback and an elite receiving duo, they still managed to lose to Ole Miss. 24-27
