Until he started kicking our arse and taking players from Louisiana.

It would actually cause the state of Louisiana to have a near collective case of paranoid schizophrenia...

LSU fans have apparently given up on actually competing with Alabama and are just gonna bide their time till Saban retires or leaves apparently.

Its disgusting. Saban's teams will always be good because of Defense. But, all it takes is for his QB situation to not work out for a few years, and they'll have some 9-3 or 10-2 years. AJM has been a very efficient QB for Bama. Look around the country, LSU, FSU, Fla, Miama right after Dorsey left, Texas recently, OU after Sam Bradford, all experienced some dissapointing seasons becuase of QB play. They had athletes at other positions to win. It happens. Not all of these QB's pan out. I know a lot of people hate Miles, and thats fine, but they need to look at the whole picture. Miles and LSU went 25-3 in a 2 year stretch, in the toughest conference in the country, including a NC game, with Jordan Jefferson. Name another team in the SEC that would want him as their QB. NONE. Now a big reason for that success was LSU's Defense, but the fact is, Miles was doing something right to win that many games with that garbage at QB.

I hate to break it to ya there buddy, but as long as the REC is looming large, Bama ain't going nowhere near the bottom of the SEC anytime in the near or distant future. Saban or not.

Saban isn't leaving. Why would he make a lateral move?

The only time I have legitimately worried about Saban leaving was during the 2010 season.

8 million a year and a new challenge with a major program in the Big 12- not to mention his son and granddaughter moving to Austin says he's leaving. Put it this way-he won't be making any "I'm not going to be the next coach at Texas" comments!!

Op, I can't believe you really think Saban would leave Alabama for more money. Geez.

is that all LSU fans can hope for?

Can't hope for their team and coach to gain headway, just hope that Saban leaves Alabama.

You are really sad.

I've never seen LSU fans this collectively happy about anything. It's like they hate Alabama more than they like LSU.
