Mormons are nice, but very competitive. I'm sure in the heat of the moment after a tough game they were more amped up.
I just don't get why people are focusing on BYU when it appears that Memphis was much more the aggressor. I would say Memphis appeared more thuggish as poor winners.
If you are celebrating in the opponents face and they shove you away from them, then go celebrate with your teammates instead of starting a brawl and swinging helmets.

No, it doesn't. Some of the Mormons around here are some of the finest people I know, but that fanbase was downright terrible that night. Now, I think their religion is a cult and totally false. That's their right, and they might think the same about mine. Don't go thinking you know my thoughts. You weren't there that night. No reason to read anything into it but a football game.

Sensitive? You come in here trying to psychoanalyze a damn football post into something else. About 10 other posts call them Mormons, but YOU single out mine. It is what is. Fans at a football game. I do think their religion is a cult. I guarantee I know more about it than you. As I've stated the few Mormons I know around here are fine people. I'm glad your time around them at games were good. Mine wasn't. YOU need to quit reading more into than it is.

Utah fans were dicks before and after the Sugar Bowl in 2009. By far the worst opposing fans I've encountered at a bowl.
