I had the complete opposite experience when they came to Oxford. They were very nice and even bought us drinks at the bar (they took shots of sprite instead of liquor though)

It's more like a common bond from a common ritual. I would personally appreciate the gesture. We can't all be as smart as me though.

If that's how you see it, sure. But they could find a multitude of common bonds outside of a bar. But like you said, you're so very smart.

We have some down here in SC. They still drive horse and buggies. They aren't the ones into polygamy, though. A friend of mine converted from Southern Baptist to Mormonism....I still can't figure that one out.
