Well its obvious Kalen DuBose had a ton of talent at UW, brought in by the previous coach

Congratulations to former University of Washington coach Jimmy Lake for bringing in all that talent to the Huskies.

As an Alabama fan, I can only hope Nick Saban is able to match the great efforts of Jimmy Lake.

So you’re saying he extremely talented in developing players to reach their full potential? Got it. Thanks for confirming

Didn't DeBoer bring Michael Penix Jr. with him to Washington?

I guess if it makes you feel better to say it that way, that's fine

Must be the next CFB GOAT, no?
Imagine being fired with such a keen eye for talent and watching a real coach take that talent to a CFP NCG.

When did Michael Penix Jr. play for Jimmy Lake?

So Penix was just a natural talent that only needed to be coaxed into transferring I guess
Yes, Jimmy Lake should not get credit for that

2023 Washington had a lot of seniors and some super seniors, that's always a recipe for success, that was pretty evident in how many close games they won.

That was some amazing talent brought in by Chris Peterson and Jimmy Lake

So we agree that the main reason for Washington's success these last two years doesn't belong to Jimmy Lake? Good.

I guess you didn't realize there's an NFL draft happening right now

That's cool. Kinda goes to show how incredible it's gonna be given he has something to recruit to now considering he currently has the 7th ranked recruiting class with only 10 recruits.
Reminds me of when Saban went from Michigan State to LSU.
Kalen and Alabama is the right combination like Saban and LSU was.

Dude only undid the obliteration Jimmy Lake did on the UW program in two seasons.

Agreed
Kalen DuBose took Peterson's and Lake's talent and did an admiral job holding things together
