Looks like another conference will be calling themselves national champs unless something catastrophic happens. I knew the streak wouldn't last forever, but it was a heck of a ride for 6 years

I'd rather the SEC knock itself out then to actually lose in the NCG.

It doesn't mean that the SEC is a lesser conference. Even if we didn't play in the NC I would take our teams over the current undefeated teams any day.
We still have a chance though.

Notre Dame can lose to USC.
KSU can lose to Texas.
Bama v Oregon for MNC.
And it wouldn't surprise me if Oregon loses a game.
It's not over by a long shot.
But it's also possible Georgia beats Bama, so...

Depending on where we drop to and if ND Oregon or kSU lose. I won't lie though I don't think anyone in the sec has the defense to stop Oregon this year. The two best defenses this yr in the sec have not lived up to the hype the last two weeks.

Yeah even if we dont get to the MNC, I still think it's clear that the SEC is still the best conf in America.
LSU/Bama and probably even A&M could handle ND, Oregon or K-State IMO.

I would rather Oregon play UCLA in the PAC-12 title game. I honestly think UCLA is better than USC.
