Yeah, I checked. At least one had LSU up at 4....8 was the lowest cast. And it has been stated on previous rankings that the difference between some groups of teams are pretty minimal. For instance teams 10-14 could probably just as well be 10A - 10E.

LSU is not a great team. 8 seems right.

Apparently there may be an issue with LSU behind UGA, OM and A&M. UGA won on the field and is getting healthier. OM won on the field and the scoring gap with UA was about the same. A&M only lost to UA by 7.

The LSU fans have some ridiculous bias towards LSU considering they finished 8th in voting while pulling in a 4th place vote

Not much of a reason to have them above UGA, OM, or A&M. 7-8th seems right to me

I'm a little surprised Auburn is suck a clear cut #2.

Missouri has one loss, in OT to South Carolina. Auburn lost to a 3 loss LSU team. Not saying Mizzou is definitely better, but they have the better loss.

And after 2011, as a Bama fan, I believe I know something about arguing the "better loss" scenario.

I assume y'all think Auburn's wins are better. Mizzou's marquee wins were against one of the worst (and most injured) UF teams in recent history and a UGA team also riddled with injuries. The East is down this year, and Mizzou has yet to play any of their West opponent. AU and Mizzou have 2 common opponents, and AU has beat them by a larger margin. Plus we're Auburn...that has to carry some positive weight around here

Can't speak for the voters, but I'd guess that's it exactly. Both teams get tested soon, so it will work out.

I count one common opponent between Mizzou and Auburn thus far (Tenn). And really, is there a whole lot of difference between a 32 point win and a 28 point win that was over at halftime?

edit: nvm, didn't see ASU. struggling to see how marginally different point differentials vs a sun belt team makes much difference.

I don't know why the voters have Auburn ahead of Mizzou, but those are some of the reasons I can think why. It wasn't a jab at Mizzou

Whoever wrote the LSU write-up is retarded.

aTm will not be favored over LSU, and Arkansas won't stay within 14 points of the Tigers.
