I didn't say we should've been favored, but I do think it's absurd if you don't see how we could beat you. We will have plenty of favorable matchups.
Sbnation said you returned 1 starter from the DL, not me. They also said you return 0 corners. To me, that's not a good setup to play game 1 against the best passing offense in the history of the SEC.

Good programs, in the SEC, reload. If you truly believe that sophomoric bush league SBN reasoning then you've got a rude awakening coming.
A&M might upset SCAR, but if they do it will be because of lucky breaks, SCAR turnovers and piss poor special teams play on behalf of the Gamecocks.
As stated before, the SCAR DLine will be fine and the LBs will be some of the best you'll see all season.
As far as the DBs go, we'll see. SCAR recruits very well at DB because we put a lot of DBs in the league. There is a lot of talent back there ... I wouldn't count on them being easy pickin's. There are a handful of experienced safeties returning that will offer a ton of support to the young corners. One may even convert back to corner. Again, you're probably grasping at straws.
I can't imagine any favorable match-ups for A&M. Enlighten me.

I just don't see y'all being able to go 5 wide with us. Not to mention your unproven pass rush/corners.
