Alabama also included in the "Others Considered" for D1.

A little surprised D1 didn't drop anyone from the rankings, just reordered the preseason rankings.

Thanks for the catch.

I am opposed to preseason rankings, but as they aren't going anywhere, I would be very fluid and move teams around for the few 4-5 weeks. I guess they don't feel the same.

I watched the LSU games and the Arkansas games on Watch ESPN this weekend.

Opinion on Arkansas - offense looked good. They executed the hit & run well, bunted runners around the bases and then hit the gaps when they had the opportunities.

Pitching got shaky on Saturday with the walks and hit batsman tying the game. I thought Van Horn had your offense looking like they had been playing for a couple weeks.

Opinion on LSU - "everyone" is a freshman from Lafayette and they can play. LSU has some new names on offense and they looked good, especially on Sunday. Going 12 innings on Friday was different but it didn't carry over to affect the other two games.

Bama can go on a little run vs Nicholls State & North Dakota and actually get ranked next week. I believe.

Think we did well where we needed playing small ball, was pleased with the pitching.

Nah, that isn't how we roll. We will lose tp Nicholls and lose at least 1 to North Dakota and then definitely lose at Troy. We ALWAYS lose the in-state road games (Troy, UAB, South Alabama). It is what we do.

I have a feeling the Nichols State game will be a rain out. Some nasty weather coming through Tuesday evening.

We will find out a lot about our pitching staff this weekend against the #2 Louisville cards. It's gonna be a tough series.

Very impressed with your weekend attendance. Is the Louisville game in Oxford or Louisville?

We looked pretty solid. I was actually surprised with Central Michigan. Pretty good baseball team that will win quite a few games this year.

The SEC is loaded.
