We need to help Auburn understand their current prospects for a new HC

Please correct me if I am wrong but when they fired Gus it was viewed badly in the coaching community. As result they got turned down by all of their A listers and had to hire a B lister. So now they have in the span of less than 2 years absolutely sabotaged BH and then fired him. Auburn is permanently little brother to Bama. So please tell me how that makes them a premier job?

All of the fanbase hates him, his 9-12 record at AU, he fricking sucked at recruiting, and he tried to implode the program by telling our players "if they don't want to play, they can go transfer"

Recruiting is a bit overrated check out AM. Harsin had a top 20 class last year. We have depth issues due to Gus last couple of classes being shite and a bunch of those transferred last year. Harsin pissed off the money folks so NIL wasn’t what it should be. Harsin was gonna try and build it off recruiting kids who wanted to buy in and developing players. That takes 3-4 years. That’s why he didn’t GAF about players leaving if you don’t want to be here I will find players that do was his way. Auburn needs to realize like AM is, that signing a bunch of 5 stars doesn’t always mean success. Hell even Bama had to go to the portal for a RB, WR, and LT. and they get all 5 stars.

In every tangible way it is from Stadium. facilities, money, tradition 3 Heismans, location 2 hrs to Bham and 1.5 to ATL, Ole Miss has what Memphis? It will be the intangibles that keep Kiffin from taking the job. Boosters, New Administration, and our track record of firing coaches like changing socks.
