I have 4 adult kids. I have never given any of them one dime since they left home after high school. (I paid insurance and phone for oldest while in college) I would help if they asked, but they are all like me and would have to be damn near dead to ask. ...

Dude, walk. I work at a dealership (parts, not sales) and I usually take up for them, but if this went down exactly as you say, find another dealer. Why would you want to do business with them now anyway?...

Our youngest just left and is a freshman in collage. We have older kids in Florida and Kentucky. We visit them. We date, almost every Friday night. We have things we enjoy doing together. We have grandkids too, so keeping up with their activities adds to things to do. Honestly, it’s been pretty easy...
