with the addition of big12 title game its gonna make it tough, for a conference to get 2 in. because you are going to basically have 5 elimination games on conference champ weekend.
i dint think you would see at a non champ get in, and really you shouldn't have last year but the national media did their thing. even at that you only got 1 team max from each conference.
i really think its all the money involved, behind closedndoors I believe their is an agreement, unless there is no way round it ; like say an undefeated bama losing a close game to a 1 loss uf/uga, that each conference gets only 1 team max in playoff

It's possible. Assuming Alabama makes it back to the playoff, we could see an Auburn team put the pieces together behind Stidham, or LSU make noise behind better QB play.
I'm not saying that these scenarios are likely, but they are possible. AU would be the more likely scenario - they're loaded on offense and should field a decent defense this year.

Florida would've played Alabama for the national championship if USC hadn't of choked against Notre Dame.
USC didn't choke. They were a shitty unranked team who lost by two scores. That goal line stand happened with like 2 minutes left and ND up 9. Even if USC scores there, they lose anyways.
The Pitt and Stanford games are where ND got their help that year. Stepfan Taylor 100% was in the end zone on the last play of the Stanford game. Pitt missed a FG that would have beaten ND but the refs missed a penalty when ND had two players with the same number on the field.

It's possible but very unlikely. Not sure who else in the conference could make the playoffs with MSU.

Maybe 2013 with Alabama and Auburn. Going into the Kick 6 game both teams were undefeated

I'm pretty sure LSU beat Auburn that year. I was at the game.

Will be tough to do in football.
We had it in WBB with State and USCe this year too.
