Gurley rushed for 198 yards on Clemson's defense. The same defense (save for a player or two) that held FSU to 13 yards rushing, on the road, at night.

They essentially have the same yards per touch and Robinson has a few more yards per game. Robinson also had a great game against a defense the committee believed to be slightly better than anything Gurley has faced. It was a close call, but the committee got it right.

Clemson just held FSU to 13 rushing yards

FSU had a kid making his first start. I'm not sure if you watched that game, but Clemson dared FSU to throw the ball.

Derrick Henry is the best back in the country.

He is making his way up the list and has an argument for the 5 spot along with Williams. Henry hasn't carried the load enough yet so his numbers don't quite match up. The committee gave a sympathetic nod to Hansborough over Henry and Williams in a close call.

This list is about production on the field to date. You might be right based on other criteria, but not for this list.

Then Hansbrough should be ahead of Artis-Payne. He has more yards and a higher YPC.

If I'm not mistaken LSU outscored opponents 108-0 since the Wisconsin game...

Until Josh came into town

Yeah, Clemson was really geared up to stop Hutson Mason. Gurley was an afterthought

I'm ok with sympathy. Mizzou needs the love.

Good thing they didn't respect the UGA running game at all or else we might have lost that game

FSU isn't a great rushing offense and Clemson was dating FSU to pass. Clemsons defense may be better than LSUs, but the committee isn't convinced yet.

You can make up any excuses you want. Josh Robinson doesn't go down on first contact. He just pinballs off of you and keeps on going. He's earned the top spot up until this point in the season.

Your list creates enough discussion without shuffling the guys at the top.

Clemson was not loading the box all night against UGA. They did against FSU.

Agree to disagree.
