Deshaun Watson
That first loss in the first game of the season will knock him out of the running.

Stating the obvious but it all comes down to November for LF7.

I don't know who it will be, but odds say Alabama will have somebody in the discussion come late November.

My prediction is Fournette doesn't even get an invite again next year.
It's all about Watson and McCafrey.

Nope - too many other receiving weapons around him. Foster, Stewart, Howard. He will have a great year but he won't have a Coop 2014 type year.

Christian Mccafrey is a baller but he was running behind a line with 5 seniors. I will be very interested to see how he does next year with a new line. Granted he did do a lot on special teams but with a young line he's gonna get knocked around a lot more.

Jake Hubenak more than likely will be the favorite in keeping with tradition.

Replace Calvin Ridley with BoScar and it's a solid list.

Watson will get it as his consolation prize for losing the title.

Watson is the favorite easily. Wouldn't be surprised if McCaffrey falls off considerably with everyone Stanford is losing on offense. OM is a pretty good bet to lose 2 or 3 games at least; Kelly would have to put up insane numbers to win with that in mind. Ridley won't see enough targets alongside so many other receivers.

I love Ridley as much as the next guy, but if Cooper didn't win it...

1. McCaffrey- if its close, this years snub will vault him to the win.
2. Watson- Everyone saw how good he was, even against Bama.
3. Mayfield- Oklahoma brings like everyone back. 2 Incredible early season matchups will either win it or lose it within the 1st 3 weeks. @Houston, pudschool, then Ohio State. Great schedule.
4. LF7-Where 2015 was really easy schedule wise early, 2016 will not be. Trip up to Lambeau for Wisconsin, Jacksonville st isn't a slouch for FCS. Then the home stretch is also tough considering Alabama is bringing lots back and A&M's defense is improving at home.
