You're shocked no one is at a Friday night Mizzou baseball game? Ok.

So you read my post and understood it. Great.

I used to date a Stephens girl. 808 is probably right. No sense watching baseball when you can round the bases.

When my dad was at Mizzou, you had to sign Stephens girls in and out, like they were a library book.

Despite what certain fans on here constantly tell us, baseball is not football and men's basketball.
I don't think OP was surprised that the stadium isn't full or expects 5K to be there. There is a long way between that to the 27 Mizzou fans at this game. Its actually impressive.

The people in CoMo do not support the program.
It's a joke.
They should be filling the womens softball and mens baseball stadiums midweek and weekends.
It's not like they have 20K seats to fill.
The people in CoMo are horrible representatives of the programs, many just don't give a shite it seems.
No reason for a Midweek Basketball game to have the attendance it does. I see a ton of the KC and STL peoples tickets for basically free.
You cannot expect the people who live 2 1/2 hours away to support midweek sports. This is where the locals are supposed to do their job as fans. They don't.

Really, our attendance at almost everything is pretty poor. Even football games have a lot of empty seats unless we're playing a big name.

Yeah, football is the only sport we have any type of consistency with and we still don't sell out every game.
Basketball has been, and will eventually be, much better. It's terrible now though.
Baseball just isn't that big of a deal here and i really don't see that changing much anytime soon.
