frick the rematch. You would have probably beaten Michigan. Just claim the championship and hang the banner. That's what Bama would do.

I remember one rematch that left no need to "claim" anything.

Must have been good enough that he was activated and played in the playoff games.

Husky Briles don’t give a shite.

In the playoffs against Texas he had 5 carries for 19 yards, 0 TD. But his long was 17 yards, so basically 3 of his carries were 0 or negative yards.

He had 1 carry for 2 yards against Michigan.

In cases of rape, this would be a matter for the university, not the football program. If they ruled him eligible as a student, they must have no felt the accusations were credible for whatever reason.

There is nothing to indicate any reason to go bending rules for this guy, he wasn't some vital part of the team.

You're just wishcasting.

crazy how many fans are trying to use his stats of evidence as to why he was played.. it doesn't matter if he earned 2yards or 200yards. if you suspend a guy for a conference championship game & then activate him for the the playoffs (because your starter is banged up) it's a bad look when he's arrested a few months later.

Meh, if the teams had been reversed, Bama would have still claimed the title due to winning in the regular season.

I’m sure they would play devil advocate if this was an LSU player. Surely none of them commented on the Trey Holly charges

Then it shouldn’t have been an issue to suspend him till the investigation was completed.

It's interesting to see all of the same posters who blasted LSU for the Title IX issues under Orgeron, now defending the same type of behavior.

Let's examine the 4 playoff teams from last year.....

Michigan - Coach cheated and was banned most of the season
Washington - Played ineligible rapists
Bama - Lost to Texas
Texas - The rightful 2023 National Champion

In this era, hypocrisy is baked into being a fan of any major program. What folks clutch pearls over in other programs they vehemently defend in their own.

About right. The shorthorns are still a legend in their own mind. Lord help them if they actually have to prove that on the field.

According to court documents, Rogers met the first victim after matching with her on Tinder in August 2023.

Rogers met her at her apartment on Oct. 23, ignored her pleas, and forced her to do a sexual act for 10 minutes, according to court documents.

Authorities said in court documents that the victim reported the rape on Oct. 28, 2023, and took a sexual assault exam at Harborview Medical Center.

After the first assault documents state Rogers left the victim's apartment and blocked her on Instagram

This is clearly a stretch. No one was bending the rules for this guy's 21 yards of production

Basically what you're saying is he would've had to have gone for 100 yards rushing and 3 td's for DeBoer to be a morally bankrupt sack of shite for reinstating a player with rape allegations and allowing him to play in th biggest games of the year. That about right?

The Auburn head coach called a prostitute on a university phone while at Ole Miss. Dumb move but nothing criminal about it.

Y'all have now defended freshmen rapists and murderers.
