Compared to a lot of the teams in the SEC, yes.

They looked good but still to early to tell, how good are the dogs.

They are good this year, but they are still USCe. Garcia will lay an egg and cost them a couple games IMO. Lattimore is solid but a good D-line will expose their weak O-line at some point.

Not sure we have a weak OL. They are much improved and absolutely dominated the LOS against the Dawgs. Gave up 5 sacks, but I think that was just as much Garcia's fault as the OL's.

Spurdog with a real running back to take focus off his passing offense will be fun to watch.

UGAs defense is hot garbage. No matter how pumped the UGA homers get over Grantham chewing out the defense on the sidelines, they still can't tackle and don't play tough.

It was their 2n game against UGA who they beat for the first time in how long??? Yes, it was impressive. How on earth can you not see that game as impressive???

I like the assumption that he will be tired come week 7. By that same reasoning, shouldn't Mark Ingram been just as tired? Latt won't get the ball 30+ times a game much this year, that was just part of the gameplan.

he ran for over 200yds didnt he? I understand that is a lot of carries but if he wasnt effective they wouldnt have given him the ball that much

Just judging by the first two weeks I'd say USC looks like an East contender. UF looks like they're asleep and UGA is going to have to pick up the pieces to climb back in it. UT is out, so you've got UK left. Should be fun to watch.

Is Spurrier going to end up running him into the ground? 37 carries is an awful lot... do they not have anyone who can share carries?

Share yes but major drop off in production. Lattimore is a very talented guy.

Lattimore - Yes, lot's of individual effort after contact and late in the game after a ton of carries.

Cocks - No, GA is not as good as billed early in the season. Bulldogs will prove to be the VT of the SEC this year.

So you're saying the Dawgs will lose to a James Madison-type team based on a road SEC loss and first SEC game for a freshman QB and new defensive scheme? Wow.

This ain't the ACC pal.
