Is there really no concern from NBA teams about Henderson's shot selection? Sure he scores a lot of points and makes a lot of 3s but I can't help but think he makes too many dumb decisions for an NBA team.

I've really only seen him vs SC so its a limited sample size but there are times when he could stand right behind the 3pt line for an open 3 if he would just take one more step forward but instead chooses to shoot the 3 from like 2 or 3ft behind the line.

Personally I have no issue with the guy, OM certainly isn't an SC rival and the OP gif + the MSU's coaches gif are solid gold, but I just feel like he takes too many wild shots that come off as show-offish.

Henderson makes a lot of assists without it being noticed.

But the thing is... not really: his 2.1 assists to 1.7 turnovers really isn't very good... certainly not good enough to justify him throwing up 12 bad threes per game.

Also, it is possible to start off higher than 100k. Brandon Jennings made over a million as a rookie in Italy.

The guy is a little wild. I am not denying that. But that is his style and his personality and Andy Kennedy gave up trying to coach him out of it. It comes with the package. No player is perfect.

On the whole, I think it has been worth it to Ole Miss. We got a tourney bid last year and won the SEC tournament......and we will probably finish 3rd in the conference this year and might possibly get a second tourney bid, none of which would have happened without Marshall.

It is what it is and he is what he is......

Of course...my question was was it worth it to Marshall. I guess we will find out. Maybe he just wants this to be the end of his playing career.

Example: Jamont Gordon (MSU player) made over a million in 2011-2012 playing in Moscow.

Nevermind...you said starting salary. So I guess you can go from making 100k to making 1-4 million within a couple of seasons.

CAN make is not the point. Who would pay him and why should they?
If Henderson could make the kind of money you posted, he would not be in the SEC now. He's yesterday's news this year.

There are plenty of players in Europe that can do as well or better than Henderson, have more local appeal, and aren't head cases.

He could always take his act to the circus

I don't know; the NBA is full of prima donnas.

I doubt he would play the same way if he ever made an NBA roster (which I kind of doubt he will).

Unless your team is Kentucky or Florida, you're a liar if you say you wouldn't want him on your team.

I wouldnt. In our offense he would hate it. And we would hate it for him

Maybe he went back for a year to clean up his image so he can make the money.

He's an exciting player to watch, and I wouldn't be surprised if a team wants him.

He's leading us to a #1 seed in the NIT. Home court advantage.

he was foolish to let Trever Releford drop a three in his face for the game winner.

He needed to come back with his shenanigans. Good shooter, great hustler, but he is a bit of a dumbass. Water is wet, too.

Yes, I can easily see him having an off-season accident.

That guy's name is J. Stern... He actually retired last year not long after this gif... Really cool guy... Did a great deal for OM in sports marketing and PR over the years.

t wouldn't have been a bad decision to go play in Europe. Imo, that would be better than the NBA for a couple of years.

I have seen some of the dumbest shite imaginable in this thread. Holy hell some of y'all understand absolutely nothing about basketball, the NBA, or playing over seas.
