HA thats bullshite mine was 5k, I'd say it was pretty damn expensive

Considering there are watches out there that cost over 200 times that, in the watch community that's a drop in the bucket.

lol, his family has their own money. They are well off.

Plus, that Harleys in College Station isn't even the only one his uncle owns. His original store in Tyler makes bank.

5 large is still a large sum of money for most people though. Just because its not the most expensive watch doesn't mean its cheap.

If Manziel was Black...then you know he has to be taking illegal benefits. Funny how you all give the kid the benefit of the doubt. I just wish EVERYONE was given the same benefit.

Oh wait - that was Dickerson.

I can give him the benefit of the doubt b/c I know his family dumbass. Never mind his family is fairly well known in Tyler and Kerrville or the fact that his uncle owns multiple fine clothing stores.

Russell Wilson was wearing one the night he got drafted, when he was his phone the close ups you could see that badboy on his wrist. Now that situation I can understand....

Im sure his parents bought it. My parents would have bought me a rolex as a graduation present if I received a full scholarship to college.

$ for Rolex < $ for 4/5 years of college

Allow me to translate for you: Money spent on a Rolex is LESS EXPENSIVE than money spent for 4 to 5 years of college. Must have been too many special characters in there for you to understand.

He comes from money. I think it's his grandfather that use to live down the street from where my parents live in Tyler now. It is a really well to do neighborhood. Lots of oil money....especially back when they lived there.

I'd guess his parents saved money for him to go to college and guess what, they didn't need it and instead of spending it on themselves, they bought some nice things for their kid since he saved them 50 grand.

It's not uncommon. I remember when my younger brother got a full ride to medical school (after a full ride to UT). My dad planned on paying for his med school, and my brother asked me if I thought it would be okay to ask dad for a big screen TV that was like a grand....my dad had no problem with it since he saved him a shite ton of money that he planned on spending for school.

Or maybe it's because most of our fans are familiar with his family and the fact that they are pretty well off economically. Has nothing to do with the color of his skin.

So how many commitments does A&M expect this year? 40? Give or take a few?

I'm confused. Black players aren't the only ones who take illegal benefits?

Well, what if Russell Wilson was wearing the Rolex while he was still in college?

By the way, Russell Wilson's dad went to Yale undergrad and UVA for law school. I said what I said to say not every Black person, whether you all know their family or not, is piss po' or did something shady to get something expensive. Just saying, next time you see a Black kid with something expensive it doesn't mean he or his family had to rob Peter or Paul to get it.
