The point is that head to head does not trump season results.
A&M had a better season in 2012 than LSU, despite finishing lower in the SEC standings.
Bama had a better season in 2011 than LSU, despite finishing lower in the SEC standings.
Sucks that that happened consecutive years to y'all, but that's the way the cookie crumbled.
