BS. Everybody cares about respect. We scheduled UT for HC and we heard talk about the lack of respect. It matters. But what about the fans? They are there to see a win. They care.

i don't know...i think the 1988 LSU/Auburn game probably has surpassed it

The fans show up every game to see a win. Designating a homecoming game matters to about 20 people. The only difference is halftime includes the announcement of some dog queen and fairy king. If Ole Miss needs motivation for a conference road game as a slight favorite then Ole Miss might be in trouble.

hahahaha you think they give a shite about hc?

LSU chose to name an existing game HC! How dumb are you?

So don't say stupid shite like based on past performances when you don't know the score to last year's game.

If LSU loses it wont be because Ole Piss was upset over this being our homecoming game. And if you are, get the frick over it!. And LSU beating Ole Piss would not in any circumstance ever be legendary. Ever!. It would just be restoring the natural order and beating you little whiny punks.
I'd say its a safe bet that you haven't stepped foot inside a college classroom.

No one gives a frick about homecoming.
This thread is fricking retarded.
And Ole Miss is not our Superbowl. Hasn't been since the 60's. I went to Ole Miss and at least for the last decade LSU has been their Superbowl.
Usually its LSU with postseason aspirations and Ole Miss with nothing to play for except the pleasure in being a season spoiler. This year is the opposite. I hope you remember it, because it won't happen again for a long time.
That being said, our QB situation and their defense makes me believe Ole Miss wins 27-10.

Well 27-10 works for me, but that makes for a poor HC.

Again, no one gives a frick. This isn't 40 years ago. Homecoming is lame and the players give 0 fricks.

You're a fricking idiot. LSU's homecoming is usually the 2nd week of November. It's always been around that time. Last year they had it this same weekend because of where the bye weeks fell. This year we had all of our OOC games early in the schedule and the only two home games this late in the season were you pussies and Bama and Bama had to be senior day.

In the hands of our HC he will turn your selection of us for HC as an insult right before we run on the field. We will come out pissed and ready to play. It will give us something to focus on other than the millions of other things that would take away from our focus. There is a reason they call it locker room material. A shitty team will play 7 HCs a year. HC teams are bad. You made us your HC opponent and it wasn't intended as a compliment.

No an idiot would think it is not a choice.

Does anybody really care about "homecoming?" Seems like a thing made up for small colleges and high schools. People going to football games are back on campus weekly.
Posted on 10/24/14 at 9:33 am to rebeloke
LSU had no idea OM would have a once-in-a-century team.
Would suck to have it all.crash down
