Was Durkin a good DC in the SEC?

Was Florida's "decent" defense during Muschamp's time there mainly because of boom himself or was Durkin a big part? I'm trying to size up the coaches and was wondering what the various fan bases in the sec think of Durkin.

As long as he did what Muschamp told him to do on defense, yeah, he was pretty good.

He did just fine, defense wasn't the problem at Florida.

Sometimes. Other times he left us scratching our heads.

He's not bad and I wouldn't have minded him staying at UF because I think he'll get better as a DC.

I thought he did a decent job. The DC that was at UF before him was better IMO . You should find out this year how good he is with out Muschamp. Should be interesting.

The HC of the Falcons? Yeah, I'd say so.

This is what scares me. Harbaugh is an offensive-minded coach, so he needs to rely on his defensive assistants to deliver a good unit. He won't be involved in that.

The reason I am a bit concerned is that like Harbaugh, Rich Rodriguez was also an offensive minded coach, and his assistants called all the defensive shots, and it was a disaster of unbelievable proportions.
