8 is perfect. 6 teams is stupid with two teams getting a bye. 12 and 16 teams makes too many games and could dilute the playoff to teams with an 8-4 record.

Debating keeping championship games at this level or adding an extra in-season bye week.

6 is dumb. 4 is still an upgrade.

As much as I dislike it, get rid of the conference bowl games and use that game as a playoff game. It’s obvious the conference bowls don’t matter anymore as evidenced by last year.

This only adds one game, gets rid of the tit for tat discussion, and gives relavency to the UCFs of the world so they can get blasted by legitimate contenders.

8. Five conference champs and 3 at large. SEC always gets 2 teams.

Use the top 6 ranked teams in final poll. No conference champ auto bid. If u want to keep the outdated conference championship game, fine, but it doesn't put u in the playoffs automatically. Top 6 teams in final poll get in. Then, The regular season still means everything. U save good intersectional ooc matchups and a good schedule will serve u well. I want all playoff teams 12-1 or 13-0. Top 6 in final poll. If it's 3 sec teams or 4 big 12, so be it. Top 6 ranked ....period.

I like current setup, just go back to old BCS formula and pick 4.

Delaney of b10 is making pitch for OU and Texas when GOR expires. Big 12 will turn into G5 conference. Why give baylor or tech an automatic berth?

Expansion is not happening unless SEC see’s benefit. I don’t see any for the SEC.

Expanding will be tied to the new contracts coming up in next 5-7 years.

Enjoy our current system. I think we have the 4 best teams. Georgia lost, OSU AND UCF would not sniff current playoff teams

Merry Xmas
