Alright but no one knows squat about his grades -- that's just not how it works. Faculty and staff are locked down like medical workers under HIPAA when it comes to discussing anything about students.
At any rate, his grades hardly matter in context of being a suspect in a rape case.

Maybe they are just upvoting a topical informative OP in the midst of the largely troll threads currently on the SECRant? An upvote does not = people are glad this happened. Also, the more you complain about the "travesty" of people upvoting the OP as way to deflect from the content of this thread, the more people are going to keep upvoting it. It will probably get to 50 now.

While I don't think that's the reason some are upvoting, I understand what you're saying.
As far as deflecting, I never really did. It's an embarrassment that this keeps happening. I hate that my university's name keeps falling into stories like this. It's terrible that this keeps happening to women on campus. What's more terrible are the idiot UT fans that will blame her. I don't wish this on any school. I hope Butch/ UT can straighten this out because it's a disturbing trend.

It's a worrying trend, but at least Butch's enforcement has been unimpeachable. Pearson is already suspended and AJ and the other dude got kicked off the team (guilty or not).
