I think you're confusing creepy and trashy.

A&M could be called creepy only to the extent that they are rather cultish. But I've been to CS several times and been at many Aggie gatherings and parties, and when you see what they actually do during their weird rituals, its all pretty much just taking the various school cheers and chants we all learn to the next level. No biggie. OK, sometimes the "next level" involves dudes in sailor suits bent over doing something called the "Hump It Cheer", but hey, NTTAWWT.

A&M fans are kinda like Freemasons or the Skull and Bones Society etc. You picture all this crazy shite going on in dark candle lit rooms, but if you actually get to see it, all it is just a networking thing mostly.

Tennessee fans like the ones I pictured are more likely to creep me out if I'm in an isolated area with my car broke down and I see one of those fine fellows approaching. Yeesh.

The addams family had the most stable relationship ever on TV. Gomez and Morticia never once fought or cheated on each other, they stayed in the "madly in love" phase of the relationship for the entire run, and loved and cared for the children no matter what they did. Find a better couple on TV. Not even the beavers/lucy's of the world topped them.

See? You guys are wholesomely unwholesome.

No contest, our former SWC brethren Texas A&M is the creepiest in a landslide. They are the Addams Family of the SEC.

Collies rule. Plus they are smart, will go call the police if you're trapped in a well.

Dude, Lassie actually pushed Timmy into the well. Timmy is too intimidated to tell the cops that the dog will take you out if provoked.

Miss Reveille is Lassie's 1st cousin. Sleep well tonight. Reveille knows where you live.

Yeah I'm jealous of the intelligence collies have. My Dane is just not good at anything. Very sweet dog, wouldn't hurt a fly and still loves kids despite a horrific start to his life with a highly abusive family.

No matter the metric used for dog intelligence, my beagle would not have scored high. She once shocked herself by licking an electric socket. The walker is brilliant though. I lucked out, because I was starting to think I was the common denominator in these dumbass dogs.

Their siblings the border collies are generally regarded as the smartest of dogs. So, although the trapped in a well thing doesn't actually work, the Lassie mythology did have some basis in fact, as herding dogs they are good at keeping track of their flock and their humans and making sure nothing happens to them.
