What's the strength of yalls D? I'm assuming it's the D-line but don't know much about yalls team. Is the UT defense better than MSU's? What do DAWG fans need to look out for?

655 yards to GT.

Here is a hint to UGA. Run the damn ball. Do not even attempt a pass. Turn and hand it off and run it right at them.

Excellent insight by ChopBlock, we have an elite defensive backfield, no one throws on us. NO ONE.

OP, we are starting a walk on at linebacker and our defensive backs are still clueless.

Strengths: Punter, defensive line.

Weaknesses: Linebackers, defensive backfield.

We have one. We're incredibly thin though. Sometimes we can't even get 11 guys on the field.

edit: Just noticed the Vols part. I skim.

UGA won't see the alignment that Shoop used against GT. Lining up a yard off the football was simply an attempt to avoid injuries to their DL. If you watched the Florida game, Tennessee lined up completely different and that's closer to what we'll see this weekend. Plus, playing in Neyland gives their defense a better jump on the snap, so they'll be a lot more aggressive at the LOS.

Not saying UT has a great defense, average at best IMO. But they were willing to sacrifice the GT game if that's what it took to stay healthy.

We stink. You'll get an early lead, and wonder if it was too easy. No worries, we're not nearly as good as MSU.

I know you guys are down on Butch, but your team may end up being better than you think. I've watched every game and Dormady looks like he could end up being very good once he gets some experience. Your OL is playing well, allowed two sacks in 138 pass attempts. They've faced some weak defenses, no doubt, but considering the switch to a non-running QB it's been a pretty good transition IMO.

Defense is lacking quality depth at DT and LB'er IMO. Tuttle hasn't looked back to form yet and Picou doesn't have enough punch against good OL's. LB'er depth looks weak unless Sapp and the younger guys come on strong. Still, I'm expecting to see Tennessee play their best game this weekend and wouldn't be surprised to see them win at home. Neyland stadium will be a big challenge for Fromm.

Yeah it feels like the VOLS fans on here are sandbagging their responses regarding truthful input about their team. Respect.

After five years I don't understand how we still have depth issues with the front 7, aside from S&C issues.
